Personal Background

Born in Salinas, California. Pete was raised in Carmel Valley and married Carmel High School classmate & artist Ruth Maat in 1989. Pete, Ruth and daughter Allison all have a deep appreciation for the unspoiled beauty of the Central Coast an area they've proudly called home their entire lives.

Pete graduated from UCLA in 1984 with a degree in Political Science.
